Beautiful varied, rural junction walk that starts from the parking lot of the beautiful Prinsenpark in Retie.

About the Prinsenpark provincieantwerpen.be writes the following; "Geelse Aart/Aard, Royal Domain, Prinsenpark... Behind all these names lies a glorious past. Until the middle of the 19th century, the Kempen consisted mainly of an immeasurable heath. Each village possessed a common nature, vague land. All inhabitants could herd their cattle (especially sheep), get heath straw, cut wood and cut peat as fuel. The use of the nature was subject to strict regulation."' Read more ...
