Xhoffraix - Bütgenbach - Xhoffraix 54 km

A well-trained cyclist or e-biker will certainly enjoy this tour. The ride starts in Xhoffraix, north of Malmedy, at the information board near the playground. We ride slightly uphill towards the hamlet of Mont and then descend (quite steep at first, so... brake in time) to Malmedy. There we connect with the Vennbahn. Once on the Vennbahn, we can enjoy the beautiful valley of the Warsche / Warchenne in a northeast direction. After about 25 km, we take the exit towards Lake Bütgenbach. A break on a sunny terrace slightly past halfway is definitely refreshing. From Bütgenbach, we return via Nidrum (challenging descents and climbs in a beautiful setting) back to the Vennbahn and roll until just before the Sourbrodt station. Via Ovifat, Noupré, and Longfaye, with a few ups and downs, we head home. Anyone in the mood for a refreshing drink on a charming terrace can go to Chez Remi in Xhoffraix.
