In the land of the Dyle, brewers are kings. At the time, they even dug a canal to transport beer barrels from Leuven to other cities. This walk takes you along the Dyle. You will discover a craft brewery where chicory, the white gold of the region, is part of the recipe! Further on, there is also a farm where the traditional potato is still torn by hand. People are proud of their land and their work, and it shows.

ITINERARY: 32 km / flat / Tildonk – Wakkerzeel – Rotselaar – Wijgmaal – Herent – Winksele – Tildonk

STARTING POINT: node 28, Kruineikestraat in Tildonk, at the bridge over the Leuven-Mechelen canal
