Dolce La Hulpe - Park & Castle

For nature and culture lovers in search of discovery, this walk of about 6 km departing from Dolce by Wyndham La Hulpe Brussels (large free parking area) is the ideal route for contemplating Park Solvay's many treasures. To name but a few: the Belvedere, reached via a 160-step staircase, giant redwoods, vast rhododendron and azalea bushes, and the gorgeous La Hulpe Castle. Allow yourself to be taken to the dreamlike world of Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon who set up his Foundation at the farmhouse of the La Hulpe Castle. More than 150 works (watercolours, engravings, posters and sculptures) are presented in an original and vibrant setting, as imagined by the artist. Then take a closer look at the La Hulpe Castle with its formal French-style gardens, its sculptures and the west-facing obelisk. Finally, return to the Dolce by Wyndham La Hulpe Brussels along the opposite bank of the long-tailed pond. You still have time to prolong this inspiring contact with nature by quenching your thirst or dining at the property, the Argan restaurant or on the terrace.
