AzureIn the heart of Limburg are two state nature reserves that together form one of the largest heathlands in Flanders: Ten Haagdoornheide and Teut. At the end of the summer the purple erica blooms as far as you can see. This 11 km long walking loop runs almost entirely on unpaved paths and through extensive heathlands and forests. In some places this creates spectacular, un-Flemish views and panoramas. You will also pass the forest that the Flemish government wants to clean up for the benefit of the Essers company.
