This walking route explores the Bulskampveld domain, located in the Bulskampveld Landscape Park. Signposted paths lead you through the wide forest areas, the heaths of the Heideveld-Bornebeek nature reserve, the field ponds and the typical floating landscape. The neo-Gothic castle of Bulskampveld, surrounded by a beautiful garden with pond, houses the Visitor Centre. Impressive image projections and sound montages literally let you soak up the atmosphere of the Houtland. The route also passes a herb garden, wagon museum, the bird sanctuary and the Pointing Wells. With some luck you will spot some Galloway cattle that preserve the open landscape of the Heideveld-Bornebeek nature reserve as a grazer.
