Walk through the Steentjesbos in Schiplaken (Boortmeerbeek) on the border with Kampenhout. With its almost 50 ha, it is one of the largest forests in the region. Owned by the OCMW Mechelen and managed by Natuurpunt since 2010. Large drifts invite you to visit.
The Nature Study Group Beneden-Dijle made its Tuesday morning walk here, and mainly inventoried plants and mushrooms. See inventory on http://waarnemingen.be at observer NSG Beneden-Dijle, area Steentjesbos 29 September 2020
