Putte-Westmalle-Sint Lenaarts-Vorselaar

Classic flat bike tour with plenty of variety. At the beginning, cycling peacefully along the Netekanaal, then through a nature reserve between Viersel and Pulderbos. Later, we pass the forest house in Zoerselbos, where Hendrik Conscience found inspiration for "De Loteling". After Westmalle, we reach a beautiful old waterway, the "Kanaal van Dessel naar Schoten". Here, you can calmly enjoy the picturesque banks following the shipping route. The old drawbridges and beautiful ships. Through the Beerse Heide, we reach Sint Pieters Lille, the castle of Vorselaar, and the nature reserve around the Kleine Nete in Grobbendonk. After a wonderful passage in the "Merodese forests" and along the "Beerzelberg", we arrive at the destination of this delightful route via car-free roads. Cafés along the way.
