Heidehuizen offers a beautiful and varied walking experience. It is one of the twelve hamlets of Mol, located in a wooded area south of the Molse Nete, separated by the Zuiderring, a wide road.
Although it is only 1 km south of Mol-Centrum, Heidehuizen is unknown to many as a hamlet and is often seen as an extension of the center, similar to the residential area Ginderbroek.
We were pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful it is so close to home. The point of this walk, which is closest to our home, can be found at barely 1.4 km (as the crow flies). We had never been there before. Can it be even closer?
The beautiful regional walking route GR Mol is also covered.
