Beautiful junction walk that starts at the church of Ravels Eel. The walk initially goes through a rural area and then through the beautiful Gewest forest, towards the border with the Netherlands. This is just touched upon. From there, one returns to the starting point along fields and farms. At the small, well-maintained chapel of Mosdijk, the tired walker can take a break.

"Eel is a hamlet of the municipality of Ravels, in the Belgian province of Antwerp, and is a separate core.

Eel originated as a street village along the N118, which connects Weelde with Geel, and the N137 to Ravels. The core has recently been expanded with new subdivisions, which has somewhat lost the linear structure. According to the structural plan, Eel is expected to remain a very rural hamlet.

Eel has its own parish with the St. Adrianus Church. The district police station of Ravels is also located in Eel."
