A sturdy, woodland walk that takes you past the old station of Eisden and introduces you to the steep edge of the Kempen Plateau. The walk passes by stairs.
The Mechelse Heide is the prime walking area in the Hoge Kempen National Park.
This walk leads you to the highest natural point of the National Park: a panoramic viewpoint where you have beautiful vistas. You will need to climb quite a bit. After that, you continue walking through the heath and have a nice view of the former sand and gravel pit.
