Racour: Omloop der Fruitstreek

Charming bike ride through one of the most beautiful regions of Limburg. Although the tour starts in a remote corner of the province of Liège, it crosses a piece of Flemish Brabant to reach the welcoming southern Limburg.
Ascent and descent alternate, but there are also sections with little difference in height, such as the older longer railway platforms. Our itinerary takes place mainly on narrow paved roads, away from public roads, through a beautiful landscape: hills, small church villages and orchards full of flowers and fresh fruit.
Often one can enjoy beautiful views of a fairly hilly area. We also visit some picturesque old towns such as Tongeren, the oldest city in Belgium, the lively city of Sint-Truiden and the historic Zoutleeuw in Flemish Brabant.
This tour has no signage of its own and contains a number of gravel strips.
