Through parks and residual groves in the Pays de Breughel

At the entrance of the station you cross a pedestrian tunnel under the tracks and discover at the back of the white-red station of the "GR 12 Amsterdam-Brussels" which is also the "Via Brabantica" compostela here. You follow this beautiful stretch of GR for no less than 14 km to exchange it for the "GR Brussels 7" in the afternoon. You will also undoubtedly notice the yellow-red of the "GR Regional Green Belt" here and there.

You walk mainly on narrow, wider dirt roads, sometimes interspersed with paved strips. Asphalt is exceptionally present. In wet weather, it can be very dirty. With some short but steep descents, it is important to avoid getting acquainted with Brabant clay. The region south of Brussels, which is part of Pajottenland, is known (infamously) for its many slopes. We have been warned! It will undoubtedly be a beautiful and above all surprising trip.
