Sven's favorite 13Mi trail

Sven's favorite half marathon trail (13Mi, 21,1km) along :
Heffenveldweg north side
Arkenbos southwest side
Hazewinkel southwest side
Biezeweide Klein Willebroek northeast side, then southwest return.
Daana returned in reverse order along the other sides of these beautiful nature reserves.
It is good to walk there all year round, even in the snow.
And with some luck you can spot an osprey or a falcon, or a water salamander in the Biezeweide.

The beginning and end of this 13Mi has been slightly adjusted (so that not everyone parks their car at Sven's door). The Signed GPX starts and stops at the Intersection of Hooiendonkstraat and Grote Mierenstraat.
You can of course start this half marathon trail at any other place (Various parking zones at the Blosdomein Hazewinkel bv).

Highly recommended in pure nature!
Flat, but remember: it's a trail! (you walk about 95% unpaved, and certain parts are narrow).

When taking the Heffenveldweg southeastwards there is a small path on the left (Voetweg 33) that we take to be able to continue walking in Heffen car-free in full nature. This official road (see POI https://www.routeyou.com/nl-be/location/view/48102932/voetweg-33-hombeek-met-brug-over-heibeek.nl with detailed photo ) is NOT A SERVITUDE OR EASEMENT ROAD, BUT QUITE PERMEABLE. The path is quite narrow, runs over 2 streams, and on the Steenweg on Heindonk you have to turn right 10m before you can continue back across the street along the concrete plot boundary. There is free passage, even though there is a fence 'forbidden access' (due to renovations). You will then cross the Heibeek bridge where this footpath is used by 3 residents as a landfill for garden waste. Just be careful there. 20m further, the Voetweg 33 ends at the dead end of the Kleine Mierenstraat, which you can take further to the right.
