Keerbergen Lozenhoekwalk

On the walk, you will get acquainted with the small-scale agricultural landscape of the Lozenhoek. You will discover the colonial past of Keerbergen and visit the heath reserve Kruisheide. A final silent witness of the 'Groote Heyde' past of Keerbergen, an enclave with the characteristic purple-blooming heather, a micro-cosmos for local biodiversity.

The municipal primary school of Lozenhoek is the starting point of the walk. There is parking available for cars. You walk via Nieuwstraat to Lozenhoekstraat, footpath 57, Kapelstraat, footpath 58, Bosduifweg (=footpath 59), Bollostraat, Burundidreef, nature reserve Kruisheide, Mwami Mutaradreef, Bollostraat, Hulstweg, Lupineweg, Vlieghavenlaan, and Nieuwstraat back to the beginning of the walk.
