Partly elaborated on the walking network in the Land of Silent Waters.
We walk from Lippelo towards Liezele.
The Grote Molenbeek rises from a spring at Kobbegem at an altitude of 70m above sea level. It drops quite quickly to 50 meters in Mollem, 20 meters in Merchtem, 15 meters in Londerzeel, 7 meters in Lippelo and merges with the Vondelbeek-Klaverbeek in Oppuurs. From there the name changes to the Vliet. The Vliet eventually flows into the Rupel in Eikevliet. The watercourse flows parallel to the Kleine Molenbeek, from south to north. The Kleine Molenbeek rises between Brussegem and Oppem. Both watercourses are barely 1 to 2 kilometers apart. ( Source: wikipedia )
Distance: 9.3 km / 60% unpaved with visit to the Fever Chapel 10.3 km Buggies: not possible

Itinerary
At the rear of the church there is a walking junction post that follows you towards WKP 99 . Then follow WKP 119 > 120. Be careful when crossing the busy Provincialeweg. BW1 chapel. Tip 1: if you like to be adventurous or have children with you, dive 10 meters before the chapel on the left (next to street sign "Provinciale weg 35-37") into the grove, a little further, turn left, you will come again on the hiking trail towards WKP 120 > 118 (BW2) > 117 > 128 > 10.
Attention: at WKP 10 we leave the walking network. Turn left, 20m. further you have to turn right into the concrete track but (Tip 2) first walk past the entrance of the Hof ter Bolle (BW3), until you have a view of the castle pond, then return on your steps.
Tip 3: you can also walk 500m further, take 2nd forest path on the left, up to the Fever Chapel and hang a cord or ribbon (against the fever) on the lattice fence and only then return. Sla now turn left into the concrete lane 70 m past the entrance of Hof ter Bolle.
Turn left at the end of the lane and then go straight into the residential area. Keep following this street until you reach the busy N17 (Dendermondsesteenweg). Turn right and after 50 meters turn left over this dangerous road and continue your way in Sint-Jansstraat. Step into the play forest at the height of the high-voltage tower on the left side of the road, RIGHT. Follow the garden fence straight to the end, cross the shallow moat and turn right. You are again at the WNW (BW4) and follow towards WKP 97 > 98 and WKP 99 to the church.
