Promenade of the Tervuren Arboretum (RCOZ)

Theme: Stroll through the Tervuren Arboretum and along the beautiful alleys of the Capuchin Forest. Duration +/- 2 hours.

Start/finish: Kapucijnendreef, 3080 Tervuren, Belgium

This is a walk designed or adapted by the Rotary Club Overijse-Zoniën (RCOZ) as part of the action "Walking and cycling for more greenery and nature in the Druivenstreek". This promotion runs from 21 March 2021 to 5 June 2021 (World Environment Day). The aim of the action is above all to reflect on the importance of greenery and nature in the Druivenstreek and to raise awareness about it. Specifically, RCOZ wants to use this campaign to raise funds for other sustainable trees in the Druivenstreek. Information about the action and participation in the walks can be http://www.rcoz.be. This walk starts in Jezus-Eik from the Capuchin Route to the Arboretum where we visit different parts (regions) and return along the beautiful alleys of the Capuchin Forest such as the Kwekerij weg, Hertendreef, Koninklijke Wandeling and finally the Kapucijnendreef again.

A shorter route is to turn right into the Drogevijverdreef and continue the walk 100 meters further to the right and over the meadow between group 9 and more to the left group 8 or along the tree species north (to our left) and south (to our right) of the Rocky Mountains. This route is +/- 4 km.
