The long red walking loop (12km) starts at the playground of De Bosuil and lets you discover the varied landscape of pine forest, agriculture and the canal. Just past the 'Chain Bridge' over the canal, forester Jan Verbakel built an arboretum with the main aim of allowing hikers to enjoy a varied forest walk. In this forest arboretum you will currently find some fun experience elements for children.

The walk takes you along the Bocholt-Herentals canal. The starting point for this canal was an unfinished canal of Napoleon. He, in turn, had dusted off old plans of Charles V. Today, the canal mainly plays a recreational role.

In the center of St Huibrechts Lille you can discover some typical Teutenhuizen.
