A route from the site 'Original Walks' difficulty level 2 blocks. The Pays des Collines, the land of the Hills, is the reflection of the Flemish Ardennes in the province of Hainaut. A walk through various forests such as Bois Lefèbvre, Bois de Leuze, Bois d'Hubertmont, beautiful views, old paths, 'sentiers', which have been reopened from 'sentiers communaux'. Parking and departure at the church of Grand Monchau, address Grand Monchaut nr 23. A route description/brochure with information can be printed from the Original Walks website and use the GPS version as a backup. A photo report can be viewed at routemedia (route information and scroll down and click on the first photo for the source, thanks to the walkers). Extra info: after 2.5 km a walking path (=chemin n°3, a communal property so a public path) ends at a garden but the owner sometimes dares to address the walker with the notice that the path is a private domain. Keep far to the right and do it discreetly, it's about 50 meters.
