Our variant of the popular Eddy Merckx Cycling Route starts and ends at PlezantHageland. You drive 71 km on the same roads where the 'Cannibal' prepared for his many victories. You will discover iconic places such as the statue of Eddy opposite his birthplace in the Tieltsestraat in Meensel-Kiezegem. Also not to be missed: Wielercafé Boerenhof at the church. This picturesque café breathes course! It is full of riders' jerseys and trophies and relics can be seen everywhere. Merckx even has its own wall...
