Since the car had to go to Carglass and the repair would take about 1.5 hours, we checked wandelknooppunt.be. There was indeed a route network, but it didn't pass by Carglass. So we adjusted the route ourselves and that worked out well. We made a virtue out of necessity and the weather was also good. What more could a hiker need?
The hike goes through the beautiful play forest Holven and along the sand extraction pit in the Kattenbos in Lommel.
About the play forest Holven, visitlimburg.be says the following; “In this play forest, children can frolic to their heart's content: dragging branches, climbing, and scrambling,... There are plenty of play opportunities!”
The route has been adjusted; parking and departure can be done at the hot dog stand 'De Ring'.
