The Pays des Collines is a beautiful piece of nature just over the Walloon border. Contrary to what the name suggests, it is a perfect setting for a cycling trip with the whole family. Because not every path leads over steep passes here. The rolling hills of bike route RAVeL des Collines are quite manageable. The official starting point of the trip is located in Ellezelles/Elzele. Park in the center of the town, near the old train station, and ride from here along the former railway line 87 via the designated junctions. After a few kilometers, you leave the car-free path and cycle into the nature park. The 23-kilometer loop takes you to the Ecomuseum in Lahamaide, past Wodecq and back to your starting point via Flobecq. Feeling hungry? After arriving, sit down at the table: Au Chadron des Légendes is the restaurant of the local brewery Brasserie des Légendes. A Quintine beer makes a nice finish to an active day.
