BUBBLE TOUR - The hyacinths of Kartelobos

Partially elaborated on the walking network Brabantse kouters.

Departure: Dendermondsesteenweg 24, 1730 Asse, Krokegem church, Belgium

Car and bike parking: There is enough space in front of the parish hall Ter Krokegem.

Distance: 5.5 km or 9.6 km.

Strollers: cannot be taken along

This walk takes us through the valley of the Waarbeek Natuurpunt Asse Waarbeek (not on the shortcut) in Asse, to the beautiful Kartelobos, which is definitely worth a visit during the blooming period of the hyacinths.

Directions 9.6 km.

Departure right next to the parish hall Ter Krokegem and follow WKP: 29 > 205 > 206 > 204 > 203 > 200 > direction 205.

At the edge of the forest, you leave WKP 205 and go right into the forest, ***** follow the path along the edge of the forest until almost completely around.

Do not leave the paths, tread or pick any flowers. Enjoy this beautiful piece of nature.

At the intersection in the forest, go right and follow WKP 403 until you reach the concrete track. Cross it straight over and follow the field path until you reach the asphalt road, still straight ahead.

At T go straight onto a small field path. Follow until you reach a T at the end, where you go left. 1st street on the right and immediately left = small path.
On the busy N47, go left until you arrive at the parking area 200m further.

Shortcut 5.5 km.

Departure right next to the parish hall Ter Krokegem and follow WKP: 29 > 205 > direction 200 until before the Kartelobos, where you walk straight in, now follow the description above from *****
