Our 13th corona walk starts at the park at the back of the Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk in Veldegem. There is parking both at the front and the back, and you can also park in the surrounding streets at the back. This time, there are 5 distances marked out. The 4.6 km and 8.3 km walks are local routes suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. From the 14 km walk, you will walk to the beautiful Groenhovebos in Torhout.
This shortest distance does not leave Veldegem village. We chose a few quiet streets and paths to let you explore this village. Veldegem was a village of broom binders and clog makers, but unfortunately, you will not find any traces of these crafts anymore.
