In the rural Bellegem, you walk between the Leie and Scheldt rivers in a rural and undulating area. You start at the Argendaal and Bellegem forests, two exceptional parcels of forest in a predominantly forest-poor region. You go via a farm road to the Argendaal Castle and the eponymous historical farm. Quiet countryside roads guide you past numerous chapels and old, typical square farms.
