A sea of squills, mysterious burial mounds from the Bronze Age, an iconic 19th-century tower, and blissfully quiet walking paths along rest benches and picnic spots: the Muziekbos has everything to make walkers happy in every season. A recommended route is the Muziekbos walking trail (9.5 km). It’s best to start at the parking area in Ruddersveld (Ronse) and follow the junctions. At the beginning, there are a few steep climbs, but then it’s just pure enjoyment of the Muziekbos and the Sint-Pietersbos on the slope of the Kanarieberg.
