Tim's Corona Challenge '21 - Durbuy Edition

Start and finish in Hotton on the Ourthe, there is plenty of parking space.

The route starts fairly calmly via well-maintained gravel paths towards Durbuy. From there, it’s a nice mix of technical passages, climbs, and descents. The climbs in this region are relatively short but extremely steep! The toughest part comes in the second half of the ride, so save some energy!

With a few minimal passages aside, the route is perfectly legal (i.e., no passages via trails and walkways where it's not allowed). So mostly singletracks and technical sections of fixed MTB routes, as well as gravel paths and/or paths wider than one meter.

But don’t underestimate it! There are still extremely technical passages, and it’s still a ride to lick your thumbs and fingers over!

You can refuel at Domaine de Palogne (after about 30km) or in Bomal (after about 50km) or Weris (about 60km)
