't Molenhuys walk - 11 km

You depart from the Scherpenberg Molendomein along Mintjens Furniture, walking towards Sint-Jobbaan. You leave the macadam and arrive at the pilgrimage site Drieboompjesberg via a natural surface. Next, you will encounter 't zandven, a beautiful piece of nature in the middle of the mill forest. You can walk around here; it is a loop of 1 km. Then, at the end of the mill forest, you will turn left and see the residential and rehabilitation center De Dennen on the left side. You will return to the macadam and also see the wonderfully beautiful Abbey of the Trappists appearing on the left side. You will walk past the gate of the Abbey before turning left and passing by the gate of the brewery. Be aware of the pleasant scent that will overwhelm you from fresh hops. Take this scent along as a companion during the end of the walk. This way, upon arrival at 't Molenhuys, you can enjoy a tripel, trappist, and extra made from, among other things, hops.
