This bike ride was done on 15/4/21. Started in Borgloon, via a beautiful orchard by the castle of Rullingen to Ulbeek for a first take-away coffee and also walked inside the church with graveyards inside! Further through a piece of nature reserve and then to Alken, unfortunately no take-away there. Still a nice place to stop for a moment. Past the Sint-Truidersteenweg, you bike between beautiful blooming fruit trees and pass the floating chapel to cycle to Helshoven via a pop-up wine bar. This is a very beautiful picturesque place where there are also take-aways. So we continue to Chateau de la Motte with its stunning terrace... where we had our first take-away beer. Then further via Mettekoven to come to the beautiful viewing church after a few steep climbs.
