Via Le Bocq to the devil of Crupet

A lovely walk in the Bocq valley, along the old railway line and up to the Crupet cave and donjon.

This is the same walk as "from the brasserie of Le Bocq to the devil of Crupet", except for the first part which is shorter and has less altitude.

Start at the campsite 'Domaine du Bocq' with a small brasserie. We then follow the little river Le Bocq upstream through the stone quarries and along the old railway line 128 to the old station of Durnal. Here we turn off in the direction of Crupet on a fairly steep path, across the fields and meadows. In Crupet, in addition to 3 restaurants, the famous Donjon and of course the Devil's Cave await us.

Via the Saint-Roch chapel we head towards the old Bauche railway station. We rejoin the little river Le Bocq and follow it to the campsite.

An alternative is to start at the parking lot near the train station of Durnal. There's more parking space and after 3/4th of the hike you pass by the brasserie of the camping where you can have a rest.
