Visit of the flowers of Borgloon

For this beautiful walk in bloom, we looked at the "Walking Club Goldenstar Borgloon". We chose their " 14 km Blossom walk ". We would have liked them a little longer and adjusted the walk to 16.5km. For this adjustment, we used a piece of GR 564 and the local orange sphere from Mettekoven. The GR 128 is also regularly followed and anyone who knows the GR routes simply knows that, if possible, the most beautiful hiking trails are used for this.

Hulsberg Castle can be admired from all sides during this walk, it was built in 1882 in an eclectic style on the site of the vault on the Hulsberg, one of the highlights of Borgloon. Due to its elevated location, the castle dominates its surroundings and its silhouette is a reference point in the wider region.

The walk is quite important on paved roads but you can expect this between the orchards. The flowers and beautiful views make up for a lot. We did this walk on Sunday, so it was quite busy but it is also to be expected, especially during flowering periods.
