The Leie Route takes you along the Leie from Kortrijk to Ooigem. The newly constructed quays in Kortrijk, with a spacious cycling and walking path, are ideal for skating. In the meantime, you can spot the new bridges over the Leie. They are all architectural masterpieces. The traffic-free towpath is followed for many kilometers. After the towpath, the villages of Ooigem and Bavikhove are visited. You discover the green Ooigem forest and the open area between Hulste and Bavikhove. You ride back to the start via the towpath.
