Description by the author

This walk is an ideal walk for your first meeting with Namur. It takes you through the medieval city on the left bank of the Sambre and the university districts. If you have some more time, you should definitely combine it with the Namur Confluence Walk, which guides you over Sambre, Meuse and the famous Citadel of Namur, which is strategically located at the confluence of Sambre and Meuse.

Practical:

The route starts near the main station of Namur and near the Leopold car park. So it doesn't matter whether you come by train or by car.
