Colpaert Farm Route

A large part of this cycle route goes through the 75 km² Bulskampveld Landscape Park. This is the most wooded area in West Flanders. The roots of this former heathland date back to 1149. It was not until 2011 that the Bulskampveld Landscape Park, stretched over Beernem, Oostkamp, Wingene, Ruiselede and Aalter in East Flanders, was reunited. The oldest Germanic name 'Bulnas Kampa' means 'the field of the bulls'.

Taste the kilometers of cycling and hiking trails along vast forests, straight lanes, picturesque villages and mysterious castles and of course not to forget the many farms.

The Hoeve Colpaert route was developed as part of Ferme Vélo - GPS treasure hunt in the countryside. They are instructive and adventurous cycling routes that can only be followed with the GPS.
