"You can't cycle more beautifully in East Belgium."
Starting and ending point is the parking lot at the new park "Site Minier" in Plombières (B).
There are several turning points (with catering) possible, depending on the distance one wants to cycle:
1. Aubel (after 11 km)
2. Thimister (after 18.3 km)
3. Herve (after 24.3 km).
The total distance will therefore be double the distances mentioned above.
The route is fully paved and fairly flat, as it runs along an old railway track.
It is signposted with signs "RAVeL L(igne) 38".
There are a few "false flats" to overcome but their gradient is between 2 to 3%.
Only at the start when leaving Plombières is there a very short steep section.
