The nature run in Lommel consists of no less than eleven loops in four different nature and forest areas: Sahara, Kolonie, Waaltjesbos, and Kattenbos. Due to the connections between these different areas, many combinations and thus distances are possible. For instance, the routes of Kolonie, Sahara, and Waaltjesbos are interconnected. Both beginners and trail and marathon runners will be able to enjoy them.
Kolonie
At the tennis club on Sint-Bernardusstraat, a blue loop of 3.1 km, a red loop of 5.1 km, and a black loop of 7.1 km start. The routes take you through the forests and heathlands, along the sand pits and the canal, providing a lot of variety. Via a marked connection path, you can access different loops of the Sahara.
