The GR 128 Flanders route lives up to its name: this GR trail crosses all of Flanders, from the West Flemish Kemmel in the west to the Voeren Teuven in the far east. No less than 473 km of hiking paths lead the hiker through the surprisingly rich variety of natural beauty and cultural heritage that Flanders has to offer.
The GR 128 Flanders route is just a part of the GR 128 story. GR trails are, after all, not limited by national borders. The GR 128 runs about 170 km through France and starts in the village of Wissant, halfway between Cap Griz-Nez and Cap Blanc-Nez. The endpoint of the GR 128 is in the German city of Aachen.
