Along the Path of Ad, the Heverleebos and the Meerdaalwoud transform into true fairy-tale forests. Discover the beautiful sculptures by local artist Ad Wouters. Stumps from dead oaks are given new life as gentle bears, modern Neanderthals, meter-high mushrooms, and other playful figures. The Bosprotter was the first sculpture by the artist that was installed in an accessible location. He created this sculpture in 2000 on commission from the forest rangers of the Meerdaalbos. This set him off on the right track, and many more works followed.
