The route starts at the sports hall in Beveren and is almost 13km long. You skate on the walking and cycling path, around the football fields where Dosko Beveren is active. You pass the Sunken Castle in the Jonkerswijk. You follow the walking and cycling path towards the north of the city, crossing the Beversesteenweg and Wijnendalestraat and meandering further along the Onledebeek. Then you reach the area north of the R32 where you pass Dominiek Savio. The roads here are quiet and rural. You can connect with the skating route Hooglede: Gits, the skating route Lichtervelde, and the skating route Ardooie: Koolskamp. Once you are back within the R32, you skate through the Krommebeekpark. The retention basins may or may not be filled with water, and with a bit of luck, you may see sheep grazing. You arrive at the center of Beveren via the cemetery. Through the future/new community house, you return to the sports hall. If you still have enough juice in your legs, you can connect with the skating route Roeselare: Krottegem.

The Midwest Skating Network spreads across the municipalities of Ardooie, Hooglede, Ingelmunster, Izegem, Ledegem, Lichtervelde, Meulebeke, Moorslede, Oostrozebeke, Pittem, Roeselare, Ruiselede, Staden, Tielt, Wielsbeke, and Wingene with a total distance of approximately 450km. You skate for kilometers along a varied rural and urban landscape. Besides the beautiful views, there are also nice resting spots. You discover the assets of the 16 municipalities in three tourist regions: the Leie region, the Bruges hinterland, and the Westhoek. Both recreational and advanced skaters will find something to enjoy here. Runners, walkers, cyclists, and others can also enjoy this unique network within the Midwest region!
