September 2023: notice - inconvenience: From September 15 to November 1, 2023, a contractor will be cutting down Canadian poplars in various locations in the Vinderhoutse forests. The mature poplars pose a danger to recreational users and the high-voltage line in many places. The logging work will be carried out along the Langendam, the Meirebeek, and under the Fluxys air pipe. During the work, the construction area will be completely closed to all visitors for safety reasons. You may use the designated alternative routes and entrances. We thank you in advance for your understanding! In the autumn of 2024, work will then begin on the recreational development of the Vinderhoutse forests.

September 2021: notice - inconvenience: a part of the roads to be constructed are temporarily - only during weekdays - no longer accessible due to construction traffic. The gates will reopen again on weekends.
The orange and green walking routes are temporarily diverted. The red route is temporarily removed. Please take this into account. Thank you for your understanding.​​
