Through Kruisem 2

Second edition of the half marathon organized by Gezinsbond Ouwegem and Adelardus Huise: despite the short history of this half marathon and the forced stop during the Corona period, it was once again a great event. A half marathon mainly on paths and rural roads through greenery and the tranquility of the Rooigembeek valley and the Lozerbos, a bit through the (private) grounds of the castle of Lozer with its beautiful pond, and wherever there was any doubt about the correct path, a friendly signpost was present. In places where the terrain was a bit hilly, this was clearly marked with clear paint signs. The numerous runners only had to worry about maintaining their pace and ensuring that they crossed the finish line. This route is also well worth it for walkers since a large part of the route runs on car-free roads....
