The route starts at the brand new community house (former church) in the village center of Beitem and is almost 13km long. On that site, you can also get to know Krachtbalclub Hoger Op Beitem. The route is largely characterized by rural and long straight roads. You will pass just a stone's throw from Inagro, a research and advisory center for agriculture and horticulture, and Alkern VOR concrete. You follow the road parallel to the Meensesteenweg, up to the church on Zilverberg. At the height of Bergmolenbos, you can easily connect to the skating route of Roeselare: Rumbeke-Oekene. Next, you cross the Meensesteenweg and then connect to the skating route Roeselare: Expo-De Ruiter or return parallel towards Beitem. You will undoubtedly spot the buildings of Euroshop. The last part of the skating route runs parallel to the skating route Moorslede: Slyps.

The Skating Network Midwest spreads out over the municipalities of Ardooie, Hooglede, Ingelmunster, Izegem, Ledegem, Lichtervelde, Meulebeke, Moorslede, Oostrozebeke, Pittem, Roeselare, Ruiselede, Staden, Tielt, Wielsbeke, and Wingene with a total distance of about 450km. You skate kilometers through a varied rural and urban landscape. In addition to the beautiful views, there are also nice resting spots. You discover the advantages of the 16 municipalities in three tourist regions: the Leiestreek, the Bruges hinterland, and the Westhoek.
