Just after the start, you will be served some very narrow church paths in the vicinity of Bunsbeek on the cycling menu.
The cycling route is somewhat hilly (433 altitude meters) with the dangerously steep Pécrot (up to 12%) climb when leaving the Dijle valley.
Along the way, there are a few possible rest stops, including in Oud-Heverlee and Beauvechain.
From the terrace of the café In de Molen in Oud-Heverlee, you have a beautiful view of the ponds of the Zoete Waters with the beautiful reflection of the silhouette of the Spaans Dak.
And a second rest stop is possible at the café La Renaissance in Beauvechain where you can also have a bite to eat (see photo of the menu). However, not on Tuesdays, as that is a rest day in Beauvechain.
