Kruibeke polders - Val and Oli

Along the Scheldt, the Kruibeke polders are a huge flood zone in which paths have been created. This pretty walk starts from the village of Rupelmonde and passes by the banks of the Scheldt, the polders, works of art scattered here and there, the beautiful village of Bazel, its castle and its amazing park, to return by the polders, with an unusual holiday pavilion, and back to Rupelmonde with its tide mill, its tower, and the dungeon where Mercator (born in this village) was imprisoned for heresy!
The other side of the Scheldt is more industrial, and it will be necessary to deal with a forest of high-voltage pylons also transit through the Polders.
