Tegna is a former municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. The municipalities of Cavigliano, Tegna and Verscio merged on 14 April 2013 into the new municipality of Terre di Pedemonte.
Before the merger, Tegna had a total area of 2.9 km2 . Of this area, 0.34 km2 or 11.8% is used for agricultural purposes, while 1.72 km2 or 59.5% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 0.47 km2 or 16.3% is settled , 0.14 km2 or 4.8% is either rivers or lakes and 0.51 km2 or 17.6% is unproductive land.
