The Cornavin hotel is a hotel in Switzerland, located next to the Geneva-Cornavin station in Geneva. The building was inaugurated on February 16, 1932, and it is a four-star hotel.
This hotel became famous thanks to The Adventures of Tintin, in the album The Calculus Affair, created and designed by Hergé and published in 1956. The hotel also houses the largest mechanical clock in the world, which, with a total length of 30 meters, is suspended between the 9th floor and the ground floor of the building.
