The Place du Marché, also known as Grand-Place, is a square in the center of the Vaud town of Vevey in Switzerland.
The square by the shore of Lake Geneva is a parking lot, except on Tuesday and Saturday mornings when a market is organized on part of the square. With more than 17,000 m2, it is one of the largest open squares in Europe. This opening to Lake Geneva and the view of the Chablais mountains gives it a special aspect and a certain reputation.
