The Schanfigg Local Heritage Museum is a folklife museum in Arosa. It was opened in 1949 and is housed in the Eggahuus, first documented in 1550, in Alt-Arosa, not far from the Bergkirchli.
Its exhibits cover the cultural history of the entire Schanfigg valley and the Walser who have settled there since the 13th century. The museum presents an overview of the agricultural past of the valley and the tourism that has dominated the spa town of Arosa for 120 years.
