The Davos Ice Stadium is a natural ice outdoor rink in Davos in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland. Located in the center of Davos, the rink, with 18,000 m², is the largest natural ice rink in Europe. Speed skating, ice hockey, curling, and since 2014, also bandy are practiced on the ice surface.
The rink is situated at an altitude of 1,536 meters above sea level. The low air resistance at this altitude, the good water quality, and the optimal weather conditions made the rink a record-breaking venue for many years. Nevertheless, it is also known for weather changes, with strong sunlight and föhn winds making ice skating practically impossible. Next to the natural ice rink is the Vaillant Arena, the home of the local ice hockey club HC Davos.
