The Halen Bridge connects the Bernese Neufeld, over the Aare which flows into the Wohlensee after, with the Kirchenthurnen district of Herrenschwanden in the canton of Bern, Switzerland. The bridge is part of the main road 236, which leads from Aarberg east around the Frienisberg to Bern.
The arch bridge was built from October 1911 to September 1913 and was put into operation on the 13th of the same month. It relieved the nearly 380-year-old New Bridge located 800 m upstream and brought a significant improvement to the traffic connection of the northern agglomeration with the city of Bern.
